What I love the most about travelling is learning about other cultures and meeting new people. I believe, it is the people you meet along the way that leave a lasting impression and, in some ways, can shape who you are. It is for this reason that photographing people while traveling is my true passion.
The people of the places we visit reveal the true story of the culture and the essence of the place. They say, “a picture is worth a thousand words”, but to me, a photograph of a person is worth ten thousand more.
Some of these people were photographed from afar, while others were taken once I had the chance to meet and interact with the individuals directly. Regardless, they have all touched and impacted me in one way or another, and their photographs are the ones I value the most in my collection because they are the true souls of the places I have visited.
