Travel and photography have long been a great passion of mine. Over the years, I have had the great fortune to travel to many different places throughout the world, taking tens of thousands of photographs along the way. Today, the world as we know it has changed dramatically, due to COVID-19.
Collectively, we are all affected in some way. We all feel the sadness, fear, uncertainty, and sense of loss. We have all had to take a step back, slow down, and change our ways. We are unable to travel and see and experience our beautiful world, and so I thought, with this Photography Blog, I’d bring the world to you. Scenes and faces from some of the many places I’ve visited in my lifetime.
I dedicate this blog to all of you, but especially to those who have lost their lives, to their loved ones, to those that are sick and fighting to survive, to all the frontline workers, and to the brave healthcare workers risking their own lives to save others. I hope you find peace and comfort in these photographs and that they bring you some joy during this difficult time.
Stay safe and well, and don’t give up hope, knowing that, “It is always darkest just before the dawn…”.
Places
Portraits & People
What I love the most about travelling is learning about other cultures and meeting new people. I believe, it is the people you meet along the way that leave a lasting impression and, in some ways, can shape who you are. It is for this reason that photographing people while traveling is my true passion.
The people of the places we visit reveal the true story of the culture and the essence of the place. They say, “a picture is worth a thousand words”, but to me, a photograph of a person is worth ten thousand
more.
